- Rafting in the Segura river
The descent of the Segura has been chosen as one of the best in Spain for rafting. The booking of this type of activity has increased by 80% so far this year in different parts of the country, especially in the summer seasonIt is a relatively recent sport in Spain, which began to become popular in the mid-80s and has several places throughout the geography to be practiced, and that in the Region we have the privilege of enjoying. They are generally carried out in stretches of between 10 and 35 kilometers and each raft carries a maximum of 10 “paddlers”.
In this sense, the Segura River, in its section between Cieza and Blanca, has been selected as one of the best in Spain to practice this sport. This section runs through some of the most ecologically valuable spots in the Region of Murcia.
There are many companies that offer the service of descent of the Segura and the price is usually around 30€ (depending on the type of service chosen).
